Following our work on the launch of their brand new East Iceland route, we are thrilled to announce that Discover the World will be handing all future media planning and buying tasks to December 19.
Back in September last year, the planets aligned and we were fortunate enough to be introduced to Discover the World on more than one occasion, having been recommended by one of our media colleagues as well as by Monarch Airlines; an existing client.
With the Christmas period fast approaching, Discover the World had some reservations around an existing plan timed for Boxing Day, and December 19 were given just 4 days to work their magic. We put the drinks on ice and cracked on with understanding their organisation, their market and their audience, and devised a comprehensive proposal bringing together print, digital and social media.
Aside from our speedy turnaround of the brief and our on-and-offline capabilities, the decision to work with December 19 on a long-term basis came from our competitive pricing and the substantial savings that we could make verses historical rates. They were also really impressed at how quickly we established a relationship with their creative team, ensuring seamless implementation of all campaign assets.
Needless to say, a fantastic start to the year for us and superb compliment to the other travel brands that we are lucky enough to work with.
